    Issued on Dec. 27, 1946, this E series savings bond may have been purchased with Miss Marianna Sipala's Christmas money.  The bond does not appear to have been cancelled and, with the interest compounded over the years, may currently be worth more than its face value.  It is in fair condition with a pair of tears that have been repaired with tape,heavy wrinkling, and creasing.
