Original 1985 Bentley Mulsanne Air Brush Artwork for making printing plates.

RARE. One-of-a-kind. This is original black & white Air Brush Artwork created in 1985 for Bentley Mulsanne advertising and marketing in North America.
The artwork was utilized for dealer showroom displays and printed marketing and advertising materials in the 80’s & 90’s.
The artwork was created by the agency that was handling the advertising and marketing for Roll-Royce and Bentley for the North American market at that time.
The overall size of the art board measures approximately 19 3/8 inches wide x 13 1/4 inches deep.
The actual artwork image size is approximately 11 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches deep. The artwork was created on one-quarter inch art board. It is covered with a heavy weight craft paper; a tissue paper overlay; a craft paper frame cut out. (see photos)
There is another layer of clear acetate that is part of the artwork.

This sheet of acetate is the overlay for the black line art that outlines the tires, license plate and silhouette of the Mulsanne.
This is a very unique air brush art technique that was the standard at the time. (Now most commercial art is digital – air brush artwork is history.)
The original artwork is 36 years old. The artwork when completed would be utilized to make black and white plates for printing presses. (Now, printing is digital, no more plate making.)
