This collectible is being offered for sale in used, antique condition. I have never seen another one of these and I am not sure if this was a promotional candy container or perhaps even a small store display. Regardless- it’s a unique advertising collectible.
The bear stands about 3 ¼ inches at its tallest point.
The piece shows age and surface wear as pictured.
My best guess here is that this piece is some type of paper mache and clay composite composition. The material is hard to touch… Like you can tap on it and hear it…
